Two comprehensive refurbishing packages are offered with the resoling of leather soled shoes. We start with the selection of sole leather. The variants in comfort, style, durability and overall performance of soles depend on the method used in the process of leather tanning (the curing of raw hides.)

The Bench Mark: Slow vegetable-tanned French Macello hides are selected for this package. Old heels, soles, cork foot-beds and stitches from welts are removed and replaced with the utmost care and attention to detail. Then we check for minor stitching and gluing of uppers. We remove laces and with non-abrasive agents deep clean leather, refinish color as best as possible and then buff with a color coordinated cream to insure leather is supple. Then, shine level is determined and applied in matt, sheen or high-gloss as original. Finally fresh laces are installed.
